Landscaping in Front of the Winery

We were hard at work over the Memorial Day weekend, planting more than 40 shrubs, trees, flowering perennials and grasses along the entire south-facing side of the winery. Plants were chosen specifically to tantalize both the eyes and noses of our customers. A walk along the path will treat you to a scent-sensation of fragrant Viburnums, Ice Cap Roses and Lavender. A variety of Oak Leaf Hydrangeas will provide showy flowers throughout the summer, and Winterberries will put on a stunning display of brilliant red berries for Fall and Winter.

It will take a little time for all the plants to stretch out their branches and establish their roots, but once they do we’ll have the perfect setting for sitting and sipping a glass of Bent Ladder’s awesome cider. We’re getting closer and closer to being ready to open!

We chose all the plants for their fragrance and ability to attract birds and butterflies.
