Vidal Blanc

A bottle of Vidal Blanc in the window

Vidal Blanc was developed in France by a breeder crossing Trebbianno (often used in blending Chianti) with Rayon D’Or to make cognac. Its cold hardiness and consistent quality quickly charmed growers in the US and Canada. Vidal Blanc is often used in the production of sweet dessert wines but also makes a wonderful off-dry style of wine favorable to those that enjoy Pinot Grigio.

Our 2019 estate Vidal Blanc is bright with aromas of peach and grapefruit. The flavor is crisp without being austere, with flavors of tropical fruit and a pleasing flint finish that speaks to the terroir. This is a wonderful table wine to be enjoyed on its own or with numerous dishes.
